I researched naturally forming patterns. and made a geometric guide to follow based on a snowflake

I freehanded a pattern following this guide, made a mould, and printed 6 copies

I glazed five of the copies with a consistent brown glaze and one with with different colors to bring out the pattern more

I started with six connections and designs based on the connections.

I focused my attention on folding stool designs and played around with different ideas through models and drawings.

I found a design that I thought best utilized the material to preform the function and finalized a design and build plan

I then created a 1:1 cardboard model

This is the completed result.

Like my flipflop these models contain no adhesives and fully rely on the materials themselves to maintain they're structure
